The short version: we collect the bare minimum, we don't sell anything to anyone, and account data is used to run your 850 Work workspace.
850work is currently offered as a hosted web app. Account and workspace information you enter is used to run your 850 Work workspace. The desktop version is not available for public download yet.
We do not sell or rent your information. We use it only to provide the app, support your account, respond to messages, and improve the product.
We collect information in two narrow ways:
(a) Account information. When you create an account, we collect the information needed to create and secure that account, such as your company name, name, email address, password, and product key or license information.
(b) Workspace information. When you use the hosted web app, the business information you enter into the workspace may be stored so the app can load it again when you sign in.
(c) Direct correspondence. When you email info@850work.com (for support, feature requests, or anything else), we receive and store that email until we're done helping you with whatever you wrote about.
We do not run ad networks on 850work.com and we do not sell visitor data.
Account and workspace information is used to provide the hosted web app, authenticate users, support product-key activation, save workspace data, respond to support requests, and maintain the service.
We will never sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.
The hosted 850work web app may store business data for your workspace so it can be available when you sign in. This includes (but is not limited to): client contact information, job records, estimates, invoices, contracts, inventory, payments, and any documents you import.
Access to this data should be limited to the account owner and users approved by that business.
Consequently:
850work may require a product key or license key for account creation, activation, or paid access. Product-key information is used to validate that the license is available and to mark the key as used.
850work is a business operations tool intended for contractors, service businesses, and authorized team members using it for work. Account access should be limited to people approved by the business owner or administrator.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where practical, post a notice on 850work.com. Continued use of the site or the web app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
